Are Nexford degrees recognized internationally?

Nexford University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), a national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

While DEAC accreditation confirms that Nexford meets established standards for distance education in the United States, recognition of degrees outside the U.S. is determined by the relevant authorities, employers, or institutions in each country. 

Graduates seeking international recognition of their degree should contact the appropriate government or credential evaluation agency in their country for guidance.

Can I get my degree authenticated for my country?

Yes. Nexford graduates can request for their diploma and transcripts authenticated by sending a request to the Registrar’s Office at registrar@nexford.edu.

Can I use my Nexford degree for further studies post graduation?

Admission to graduate or other academic programs is determined by the policies of the institution to which a learner applies. Nexford is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), and holds formal agreements with select universities that may offer opportunities for continued study, subject to each institution’s individual admission requirements and program criteria.
