Questions we actually hear.
Answered directly.

How many credits can I transfer into my Nexford degree?

You can transfer up to 75% of a bachelor's or associate degree, or up to 60% of a master's — from any combination of approved sources. Your capstone is always completed at Nexford.

What is the minimum grade required for transfer credit?

You'll need a C or equivalent for undergraduate courses, or a B or equivalent for graduate courses completed within the last 10 years.

Do accelerator courses cost the same as Nexford courses?

No — partner courses aren't Nexford tuition. Each partner sets its own price, shown on their site.

Is there a transfer credit review fee?

No. Nexford does not charge a transfer credit review fee. All eligible transfer credit evaluations are provided at no additional cost.

Can I transfer credits into the MBA?

Yes. You can transfer up to 60% of the program through eligible graduate-level coursework completed at an institution recognized by a CHEA- or USDE-recognized accrediting agency, or an equivalent government-recognized authority outside the United States, subject to a course-by-course evaluation. You may also be eligible through the Abilitie Mini MBA pathway.

Does Nexford accept Sophia Learning credits?

Is Nexford a StraighterLine partner college?

Yes. StraighterLine is an approved Nexford degree accelerator partner. Its courses cover all five Gen Ed categories and business electives, and transfer directly into Nexford degrees.

Does Nexford accept UPI Study or Saylor Academy credits?

Yes — both are approved Nexford degree accelerator partners. UPI Study covers Gen Ed plus business and technology electives; Saylor Academy's open courses cover Gen Ed and business electives.

Does Nexford accept MedCerts certifications?

Yes. Industry certifications earned through MedCerts transfer as elective credit toward the Nexford BBA — up to 12 credits, applied through the standard transfer review.
