What is the RSVP deadline?

The RSVP deadline is December 31, 2025. Be sure to confirm your attendance and complete payment before this date to secure your spot at the ceremony.

Who can attend?

Current alumni who have not attended a prior graduation in Washington DC, as well as learners expecting to complete their program by June 2026. Please note that all outstanding tuition fees will have to be settled prior to attendance.

Can I bring guests?

Yes, you can bring one guest. Please include them in your RSVP.

Is there a cost to attend?

Yes, there is a fee to attend Nexford’s 2026 Graduation Ceremony. You will select your preferred option when submitting the RSVP form:

Graduation Participation Fee: $120
Includes:

Access to the official graduation ceremony

Optional Add-Ons:

Printed Diploma: $60
This is a discounted rate from the original $110. You can request this on the RSVP form.

Sightseeing Tour: $40
Join an optional guided tour of Washington, DC on August 14, 2026. Available as an add-on during RSVP.

Will I receive a printed diploma at the graduation?

Printed diplomas are optional and available for an additional fee of $60 (discounted from the original $110). You can indicate your request for a printed diploma directly in the RSVP form.

Can I request a visa support letter to attend the graduation?

Yes. If you indicate during RSVP that you need a visa support letter, our team will follow up with the next steps. Please note that visa support letters are issued only to learners who have filled out the RSVP form.

What time does it start?

Final timing details will be shared closer to the event, but the venue will open after lunch, with the graduate procession expected to begin shortly after registration. Stay tuned for the full schedule.

What should I wear?

Smart formal attire under gown. Comfortable shoes recommended.

Do I need a cap and gown?

We strongly recommend you do wear a cap and gown and you will be able to purchase or rent them. Details to be shared a few months prior to the event.

Can I bring my own cap & gown?

No. Graduates must wear official Nexford graduation attire to walk the stage.

Is there an after-party?

No but you’re of course welcome to organize your own!

Will there be photos?

Yes. Photos and videos will be shared post-event.

Is attendance at the graduation ceremony mandatory?

While we’d love to celebrate with you in person, participation in the ceremony is not required to officially graduate or receive your diploma.

Is the graduation fee refundable?

No. The graduation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason, including visa denial or inability to travel.

If you are unable to attend the August 2026 Washington, DC ceremony, you may choose to participate in a future Nexford graduation ceremony. The next ceremony is planned for Summer 2027 and will take place outside the United States in a visa-accessible location.

What if I can’t attend the US graduation for any reason? Can I still attend a future global graduation?

Yes. If you are unable to attend the August 2026 Washington, DC graduation for any reason, you may participate in a future Nexford Global Graduation ceremony instead.

The next ceremony is planned for Summer 2027 and will take place outside the United States in a visa-accessible location. Additional details will be shared once finalized.

Please note that graduation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you choose to attend a future ceremony, applicable policies and fees at that time will apply.
