Learners receive a free Microsoft Office 365 license to use during their time at Nexford. Most projects and assessments can be completed using a Microsoft or a Google application. A note about operating systems: Microsoft, Apple, and Google periodically end support for their older operating systems. Our minimum computer system requirement in the chart below reflects these changes.

Web Browsers

Web browsers listed in the chart below have been tested and validated for use with our website. Other web browsers not listed may not work as well and will be unsupported and untested by Nexford.

Device Type

Almost all Nexford tools are accessible through both a computer or a tablet meeting the below requirements, however, for some specific tools, you must access them through a computer.

Two-Factor Authentication

Starting September 1, 2022 Two-Factor Authentication will become effective for all learners.

Nexford University has initiated the use of a two-factory authentication system to increase privacy and enhance security for learners accessing its systems. The University uses two-factor authentication to verify the identity of the learner who accesses the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) through the use of two independent means of evidence. The purpose of two-factor authentication is to ensure that the learner who enrolled into the academic program is the same person accessing the LMS.
