Business Insider Africa – Fadl Al Tarzi discusses Nexford University’s next growth phase following considerable popularity across Africa
As a next-generation American university that is tech-enabled, Nexford University is positively impacting lives around the world, particularly here in Africa.
As Nexford continues to see learner numbers grow across Africa, the timing has never been better for the university to enter the next growth phase.
The tech-enabled online university with an American license was established with the aim of solving the world’s biggest challenge: education. And now that its footprint in Africa is expanding to include Ghana and South Africa, that challenge is slowly but surely being eradicated.
For Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Fadl Al Tarzi, lack of education is the root cause of most global challenges. He also believes that people should be able to access economic opportunities, irrespective of their physical locations. And Nexford University helps to make that possible.
Earlier in the year, Tarzi and his team raised $10.8 million in a pre-Series A funding round. And in this exclusive interview, he tells Business Insider Africa about the company’s next growth phase:
"We are just scratching the surface on what’s possible. We are very excited about what’s yet to come. We’ll be launching new programmes next year. We will also be launching new technologies and maybe new learning environments."
