Statistics for Business Analytics

This course covers the critical statistical and analytical skills a business leader needs to communicate and collaborate with others who make data-informed decisions. Making intelligent decisions based on data and information is critical for businesses. Large datasets are readily available for most industries and areas of business. Being able to use and understand what is happening through the use of fundamental analytical and statistical techniques and tools is critical to thorough analysis and effective decision-making. Learners are taught how to describe, gather and analyze business data through authentic assignments that require manipulating data with the proper techniques and tools. Model-building, analysis, and effective remote communication efforts are taught, using examples from various business contexts such as finance, marketing, operations, and strategic management.
