Admissions requirements
All applicants to Nexford’s degree programs are considered for admission based on the information they provide. We are committed to ensuring equal access to educational programs for all qualifying learners and does not discriminate.
- High school completion
Undergraduate degree program applicants must submit self-certification of high school completion or its equivalent (e.g., GED or national exam certificate). - Proof of identity
As part of the admissions process, applicants are asked to provide valid, government-issued identification and a passport-style photo or “selfie.” - Proof of identity
If your previous education was in English, your transcript will serve as proof of English proficiency. You can also provide scores from an approved qualification exam.

What support is available for learners?
Nexford offers learners support from our Success Advisors, who can advise on academic planning, enrollment, time management, and other issues related to life as a student and working adult. Nexford also offers other types of academic support, such as a writing resource center, research assistance from our online Librarian, and learning support within courses from the course instructor and the course facilitator. Nexford also offers opportunities for learners to connect with each other to get support from their peers, include a Peer Mentor program and alumni communities.
What time commitment do I need to make?
Learners should expect to commit 15-20 hours per week, per course. The max duration to complete a course is 8 weeks, but learners can move at a quicker pace if they like.
What's the deadline to enroll?
You may enroll at any time, but we recommend you enroll at least one week before your first course. This gives you enough time to complete your orientation and explore the learning environment before you start.
I missed the application deadline. Can I still apply?
You can! We accept new learners on the first of each month. So even though you missed one deadline, there's another start date around the corner.
